The RASOR® RS1S is a professional battery-powered pair of shears for composite materials. It is ergonomic, robust and offers excellent cutting performance. The blades feature tungsten steel inserts with micro-serrated edges, specially developed for composite materials, ensuring clean cuts without the material jamming.

Rasor RS1S – Professional scissors for composite materials
The RS1S has been developed for cutting composite materials and technical textiles. The blades are made of steel with tungsten inserts and feature micro-serrated edges that ensure clean cuts and reduce the risk of the material jamming.
The Li-Ion® battery has a capacity of 5 Ah. The motor operates at a speed of 19,000 rpm, enabling the blades to move 80 times per second.
The shears feature smart button technology with a safety lock and automatic cutting mode. The integrated laser guide line enables you to follow a line for straight cuts.
Weighing just 370 grams including the battery, the RS1S is designed for prolonged and effortless use. It can be used on various types of composites, technical textiles, and combination and hybrid materials. The ergonomic design allows you to make both straight cuts and contours whilst maintaining a clear view of the material.
