PET bottles become embroidery thread

With the increasing demand for sustainable products from major players around the world, such as Nike, Adidas, Ralph Lauren, and even luxury brands such as LVMH, we suppliers are being asked to renew our product portfolios with truly environmentally friendly products.
We are proud to present brand new products under the Madeira Green concept. Madeira Green will be the main focus of product development, and we can now present some of these products.
Polyneon Green
Our first Madeira Green product is Polyneon Green. The embroidery thread is made from recycled plastic bottles.
It is 100% recycled polyester, with the same beautiful sheen and soft feel as Madeira Polyneon.
30 standard colours will be introduced initially, with this number soon increasing to 108 colours. In the meantime, you can use the Polyneon chart to identify the colours of Polyneon Green.

World premiere – Sensa Green
The first genuine Lyocell embroidery thread is a true Madeira innovation and will be launched in early summer 2021.
- Made from 100% Lyocell fibres, it is the most environmentally friendly embroidery thread available.
- 144 beautiful colours and a brand new colour chart will be available in the third quarter of 2021.
- Extra soft feel that can be recommended for embroidery close to the skin. Available to order in autumn 2021 and will be available in 80-100 colours.
