Fire-resistant embroidery thread for professional applications
Madeira Fire Fighter is a specially developed embroidery thread made from 100% aramid fibres, including Nomex®. The thread is designed for use on garments and textiles where the embroidery must meet the same high safety standards as the material to which it is applied. Unlike standard polyester or viscose threads, Fire Fighter does not melt or drip at high temperatures. The thread is self-extinguishing and helps to limit the spread of flames once the source of the fire has been removed.
Developed for environments where safety comes first
Fire Fighter is used on textiles exposed to extreme conditions and where certified fire-retardant properties are essential. The thread combines high safety standards with professional embroidery quality and is suitable for logos, names and labelling. To maintain the garment’s fire-retardant properties, it is recommended that the bobbin thread and backing are also suitable for flame-retardant applications.
